atal has had the opportunity to supply its structural waterproofing products to companies all over Wales,Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Avon, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire, the Home Counties, London and the West Midlands. Together with Atal Contracting, we have supplied our waterproofing systems to projects of all sizes, including schools, hotels and industrial sites.

The founder and manager of the company. With 20 years of experience in structural waterproofing, David is an expert in the role he assumes within the company. Liaising with architects and contractors to ensure our clients receive professional, high quality and bespoke designs which are specific to the requirements of our clients. Ian has worked for atal since November 2013. He is an expert with CAD, is qualified in waterproofing design and his knowledge on BS8102, BS8485, NHBC, LABC, Premier and other industry standards is second to none.
He is currently studying for a B Eng. in Civil Engineering. Alongside working in the real world, he has toured the UK and Europe in various rock bands. His hobbies include playing drums, poker, chess and watching football. He is currently studying Civil Engineering at the University of South Wales.
Dominic joined the company in 2014 doing various roles in sales and warehouse, to a Company Buyer for both atal Cyf and atal Contracting. Now he has progressed into atal’s Contract Supervisor.
Dom has a BSc Hons Degree in Sound Technology, and has over 10 years’ worth of Sales and Management experience in various industries.
Having worked 18 years previously for the same company, Tyrion managed the day to day running of a busy office ensuring customer satisfaction and getting the best out of all staff. Since working in atal, within the account department and being the Office Manager, both roles has allowed her to develop her own personal skills and skills within Human Resources.
Sales & Marketing
Cara qualified in Art & Design in the University of Glamorgan in 2013, so has a good eye for detail, this plays a crucial part of her role within the marketing department. She previously worked in sales and then moved on as a Recruitment Consultant before joining atal in 2015.
Cara firstly started working in the Sales Department at atal, contacting architects and contractors for potential future projects, she then quickly moved into the Technical Department as a Technical Assistant where her role was to produce details using the CAD software. She now takes control of the Marketing side of the business, promoting atal in all ways including all aspects of social media.
Lucy is the Financial Controller at Atal. Prior to this she worked at Chepstow Racecourse as the Racecourse Accountant. Lucy is very passionate about assisting valleys based business in their growth and success as this is where she lives and has her own family. With her knowledge and experience she hopes to be able to help Atal continue to grow and prosper in the years to come.
Meg has recently joined the atal team as an Office Junior. She is currently studying for her Business Level 3, and gaining experience at atal along the way.
Meg undertakes a number of general office administration and account duties. She also works closely with other departments to help maintain a smooth and efficient office.
Owain studied his degree in Animation: Direction and Production at the University of South Wales, giving him the attention to detail skills needed to draw up our AutoCAD details, which he has been learning under the supervision of our Technical Manager, Ian Price.
Before coming to ATAL in September, Owain has previously worked in the fields of Animation for Film and Broadcast and as a Freelance Graphic Artist. His spare time is mostly devoted to study, practice and producing new artwork.
