Atal UK is committed to addressing the threat of slavery and human trafficking across all parts of our supply chain, be it contractors, suppliers or consultants.
In the event of any concerns being raised, irrespective of these being from within or outside of the business, all employees and Directors are required to act.
Atal UK will regularly communicate and interact with our extensive supply chain network to ensure that there is no modern slavery in their own business and supply chains.

Our Policy On Human Trafficking And Slavery

Atal UK endeavour to ensure that there is no human trafficking or modern slavery across our business or in any part of our supply chain. Our policy on human trafficking and modern slavery reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity across all business relationships. Atal UK endeavour to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure human trafficking and modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our supply chain of contractors, suppliers and consultants.

Company Name And Supply Chain

Atal UK supply chain comprises large numbers of subcontracted contractors, suppliers and consultants to undertake works and provide services, materials or manufactured products on our construction sites.
Atal UK implements and enforces processes to ensure, where practicable that the organisations within our supply chain understand and adhere to their obligations and our expectations with regard to their workforce and their respective supply chains. In addition to amending our own pre-qualification process.
Atal UK prides itself in building long term relationships with our suppliers, subcontractors and consultants and make clear our expectations of their business behaviour. Atal UK encourages the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle blowers.

Supplier Adherence To Our Values

Atal UK have zero tolerance to human trafficking, we expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our policy and values regarding this.

Due Diligence

Where possible Atal UK builds long term relationships with our suppliers, subcontractors and consultants, making clear our expectations of their business behaviour.
In extension of this Atal UK communicates the company’s expectations with regard to modern slavery and human trafficking during site inductions for contractors and company inductions for employees.
Atal UK also provides literature in its offices and site cabins highlighting the issues surrounding Modern Slavery and providing contact numbers for support agencies.
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to relevant members of staff. All directors have been briefed on this subject. This is in addition to the induction briefings described above.

Training

On joining our Company, employees are provided with access to our Modern Slavery Policy and associated policies as part of their induction. We invest in educating our staff to recognise the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Employees are encouraged to identify and report any potential breaches of the Company Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our company’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year. This policy will be reviewed annually by the Managing Director.
We will communicate this policy to our employees, supply chain partners and relevant interested parties and review it on an annual basis.
